“Throw Like A Girl” is a short documentary directed by Spike Lee about little league pitcher Mo’ne Davis. Mo’ne’s spectacular performances leading up to and in the Little League World Series catapulted her to stardom.

After the ad ran, people began debating wheher or not Davis would lose her eligibility to play NCAA sports because college athletes are usually “not allowed to profit from their name, image and likeness“, but the NCAA has changed their rules since January and will be more flexible depending on the situation.

Dyani Douze, resident of Brooklyn, is currently in final year at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. She is developing her interests in the relationship between the aural and the visual media through studying sound design and film scoring alongside film editing and production, more recently with an interest in documentary.
