Keen to prove her talents beyond pouting and having nice eyebrows, supermodel Cara Delevingne has just been cast as the lead in the latest John Green film adaptation.

Delevingne will play Margo Roth Spiegelman, the elusively beautiful girl next door of Green’s young-adult bestseller Paper Towns.

The YA novel details the journey of Quentin Jacobsen, a Florida teen who is conscripted by childhood crush Margo (Delevingne) into a nightlong trail of revenge against everyone who has wronged her over the past year. Come morning, Margo vanishes, leaving Quentin only an arcane series of clues to her whereabouts.

The 22-year-old face of Burberry will star alongside YA veteran Nat Wolff (Quentin), who previously appeared in Green’s weepy teen blockbuster The Fault In Our Stars.

With the $280 million gross of “TFIOS” and the casting of fashion’s girl of the moment, 20th Century Fox is sure of another box-office sensation.

Though Britain’s most prolific model certainly has the looks to pull off Margo, will her acting measure up to that of Green’s previous it girl Shailene Woodley?

Hint: Probably not…
